Is an independent non-profit organization which offers humanitarian services for the needy people.
Established in 1992, when the civil war broke out in Somalia which caused tremendous losses of lives of thousands of civilians and destructions.
In consideration to above catastrophes and disaster which affected the lives of the majority of our local communities, a group of intellectuals, community elders came together to discuss ways to help the needy people to respond the sever famine and a cute starvation to thousands of Somali communities in that time, opening feeding centers to provide food, shelter and medical relief to help famine and drought victims.
Currently IGATHA operates orphanage care, education, health care, relief humanitarian activities and water and sanitation, capacity building project.
Reducing poverty and its effects by providing care and development to the beneficiary through quality programmers, projects and partnerships.
To overcome absolute poverty among vulnerable communities towards self-reliance.
